Who we are
TEDROW CONSULTING is a boutique advising Firm established in Mauritius.
Composed of a group of professional staff specialized in business and company law, coming from both main international law firms and auditing firms and largest companies – mainly from the mining sector – having activities in the DRC and in the OHADA area, TEDROW CONSULTING offers an unparalleled experience and expertise.
TEDROW CONSULTING intends to provide services to international customers, having for purpose to develop their activities in the DRC and in the OHADA area by fully complying with applicable laws and to have access to international quality standards legal advices.
The Members of TEDROW CONSULTING’s team :
- Have an experience acquired and developed within various “Big Four” firms, in both DRC and other countries from the OHADA area;
- Acquired a general business law practice, and particularly on OHADA matters, by holding executive positions in international mining groups.
Moreover, all our Team Members are bilingual (French and English) to better serve our international clients.

To date, seventeen (17) States are members of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa:
Benin, Burkina-Faso, Cameroon, Comoros, Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Chad, Togo, Central African Republic, and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Eleven matters are covered by legislation common to the 17 Member States. These Uniform Acts are directly applicable and binding in Member States:

- Revised Uniform Act on Accounting Law and Financial Reporting of 26 January 2017
- Revised Uniform act on the organization of collective procedures for the discharge of liabilities of 10 September 2015
- Revised Uniform Act on Commercial Companies and the Economic Interest Group of 30 January 2014
- Revised Uniform Act on Security Interests of 15 December 2010
- Uniform Act on Cooperatives of 15 December 2010
- Revised Uniform Act on General Commercial Law of 15 December 2010
- Uniform Act on Road Freight Agreements of 22 March 2003
- Uniform Act on Simplified Debt Collection Procedures and Enforcement Proceedings of 10 April 1998
- Uniform Act relating to the accounting system for non-profit entities of December 22, 2022
Amongst these State-members, the DRC has undeniable attractions in terms of investments:
- Second largest country on the African continent representing almost 5 times the surface of Europe
- Strategic position in the heart of Africa, sharing more than 9,000 km with 9 neighboring countries
- A major hydroelectric potential estimated at around 774,000,000 Mw/h
- A forest cover representing more than 45% of the entire African equatorial forest
- A major geological potential:
– 1st copper producer in Africa
– 70% of global cobalt reserves and production
– Significant lithium and nickel resources currently untapped - Huge infrastructure needs and opportunities.
